Save May 20-23 for the 2017 CSE Meeting in San Diego, the 60th Anniversary Meeting!
The 2017 Annual Meeting, themed “Setting Sail: Navigating the Future of Science Publishing,” will be held May 20-23 in San Diego. The Program Committee is finishing up the planning of concurrent sessions and the Short Course Subcommittee is setting up the popular 1-day short courses in Publication Management, Publication Metrics, and Manuscript Editing and the 2-day Short Course for Journal Editors. As with the 2016 meeting, CSE Short Courses will be taught on Saturday and Sunday; the general and concurrent sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday. The two speakers for the general sessions are Mary-Claire King, PhD, geneticist well known for her work on breast cancer genes, and Marcia McNutt, PhD, geophysicist, president of the National Academy of Sciences and former EIC of the journal Science. CSE will also be celebrating the 60th anniversary of their organization with some enjoyable events.
